vintage Ikea Hestra wicker lounge chair

This stunning and very comfortable rattan lounge chair is called Hestra and was produced by Ikea around the same time (1982) as the of design of Tito Agnoli, the P3, made by Pierantonio Bonacina. This is more however is more sloping chair. The chair is made of a metal frame with woven wicker and was originally made for in- and outside use. It is in a good condition with some marks from age and use in the wicker and some loss to the wicker.

It is made from wicker around a tubular steel frame. The key feature here is its ergonomic shape that is incredibly comfortable to sit in. It is in good condition with few signs of age on the rattan. There are a few broken rattan strings.
